There was once a girl named Vivi. She was a second grader. She was a simple girl who would play all day long, and she had a vivid imagination. Each day, every second, she came up with something new and original.
âLetâs go and play the kingdom! Weâll make our own land!" Vivi joyfully said to her classmates during the recess break at school.
âDonât be so childish!â Her classmates, still children, pushed her away. They couldnât take their eyes off of their cell phone displays and their fingers were tapping so fast. It was like they thought that the one who managed to tap through the other side of the cell phone could win a mega-super-large tablet.
Vivi was a jolly and friendly child, but she felt alone somehow. And it's no wonder. She started gradually to close off and started being more silent and sadder. Of course, her mother and father noticed it. But they had no idea of how to deal with it, since Vivi kept almost all her feelings to herself.
âWhy wonât you go out and play with friends?â her mother would ask.
âWho will I play with? Everyone thinks Iâm childish and silly!â said Vivi sadly.
âWhatâs wrong with being a child? I'm sure your classmates would love to grow up as soon as possible, but all in good timeâ.
âI also want to grow up. So that I can do whatever I like. If I canât play, why be a child?â
