“Otto, dinner’s ready!” called his mother from the kitchen. Otto heard her, but he still had to finish building a helicopter with a motor from the kit. He still didn't succeed, but he didn't want to give up. His mother knew it very well: when Otto is busy doing something, nothing will pull him out of his work. But she was still a little bit angry, because the porridge was cooling on the table and it was almost time to go to bed.

After a while, Otto appeared at the kitchen door with the helicopter. He was smiling from ear to ear and shouted so joyfully that his glasses fell off of his nose:

“Mom, I did it! Look, the motor really turns her propeller!

While the boy was sitting at the table, his mother thought. Otto was very bright at school, so he was often transferred to a higher and higher grade. He'd gradually lost all of the friends he used to meet. Maybe this was why he spent most of his time alone at home. She decided to discuss with Otto’s father where Otto might make new friends.

His father thought of the sports club.

“My colleague’s son plays tennis,” he said to Otto. “Would you like to try it out, too?” Otto agreed and his father took him to his first lesson.

Otto really liked tennis. Soon, he started to train four times a week and finally had a group of friends around him. The only thing that bothered him sometimes were his glasses. Without them, he wouldn't be able to see the blackboard at school, and he certainly wouldn't be able to hit the ball. He just wouldn’t do much without them. But the glasses slid off his nose, pushed him, and fogged up quite…
